Possibilities for Community and Public Engagement
This training event will provide postgraduate and early career researchers within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Edinburgh with an introduction to some avenues for possible community and public engagement within the University, and explore some of the challenges of engaging with diverse audiences. In particular it will introduce At Home in Scotland participants to fundamental principals and guidelines for engaging with young people ahead of their workshops within the Kickstart Summer School, and it will introduce them to some considerations when working with the elderly.
