We are inviting members of the public to share their stories with us on Saturday, May 10th 2014 in the Scottish Storytelling Centre for inclusion on the podcast. Visit the Scottish Storytelling Centre website to find out more.
Learn more about 'Possibilities for Community and Public Engagement'
What exactly is 'public engagement'? What guidelines, if any, exist for structuring engagements with the wider community? What supports exist for researchers within the University of Edinburgh to pursue community and public engagement?
This workshop on Monday, May 19th 2014 will seek to address these questions through presentations and group discussions lead by representatives of Beltane Public Engagement Network and Widening Participation at the University of Edinburgh, and researchers from the School of Health in Social Science. Participants in the 'At Home in Scotland: Stories of Place' project are automatically guaranteed a spot on this workshop. There are limited additional places available for other PGR/ECRs within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Edinburgh and early booking is recommended.
